Craig Lee Paterson
Lost to us unexpectedly on the 16 August 2006, through a motorcycle accident.
Craig was on his way home one night after a ride out with the boys and didnt make it home.
Craig was only 30 years young, a much loved son of Tilda, annoying big brother to Vicki and adored
Uncle of Keiran. A very tall nephew to Great Aunty Mary and Great Aunty Margaret, and cousin to the
girls, Jen, Karen and Chae. The list continues but is very long...he loved everyone and the feeling
was mutual.
Based out in Crieff after a stint in Perth and Pitlochry Craig was training to be a Paramedic. He
loved his job and thought very highly of his colleagues, who unfortunately had the task of having to
attend to the scene of the accident. He started his medical training when he joined the army in
1998. He came home in 1999 and joined the crew at Perth.
Craig was a great man with a wicked sense of humour. Loved a round of golf, his motorbike and
playing pranks on people. He always made you laugh and took care of the people close to him.
A very gentle giant with a beautiful smile.
Missed more than he will ever know.

Aw bless...20 to 6 in the morning he had me up!!!! And he's a big ol' 7 years old now!! He had a fab birthday and he had happy birthday sang to him 3 times at school, special or what??

Hi Craig, just posted this over on yer other GTS webpage, hope you are doing ok, and hope Claire, Tilda and Vicki are all fine. Was up the Sma Glen for the first time since the accident, went up a few days ago, felt I had to do it. I flipped out as I approached that corner and had to stop for a wee bit. Stayed there for a while, just sat down on the hillside. Stay safe m8.....still cuts me up to think back to that evening, still having trouble getting my head around it all. Gaz.

Remember when we were kids and summers were proper summers and we used to spend all day out on the bikes?? or at aunty margarets? Just been talking about that and how much we loved it. Well i think its grand that Keiran has people like Aunty Margaret in his life too, angels come in all forms, shapes and sizes and i do believe that they/you are not all on the other side as its said.
My boy might just be the hardest job ive ever had but he is also the most rewarding. The best medicine ever. And thats just his cuddles lol.
Im thankful ive got him and im thankful for my family and friends who id be truly lost without.
Its not a straight road by any means, twists, curves, and mountains to climb, but we all will get to the top. And guaranteed when we least expect it.
We cant change the past and we dont know the future but we'r here.
And if not for a long time then it should definitely be a good time.

Hi Craig, This will be my last message on your site for a while as I am giving Dave the computer.
